Refilling your axle clutch with clutch oil can often be difficult or messy, or both. I've seen lots of contraptions invented for this purpose, but try this stunningly simple solution: The plastic bottle to the left was found in a beauty supply store. Its angled spout is perfect for getting into the fill hole on a SMC axle clutch. Simply nip off a little of the spout's tip to improve oil flow. Fill bottle with 8 or so ounces of clutch oil. Jam tip into fill hole of the clutch; by rotating the clutch a little, you'll find the "sweet spot" where little to no oil will leak out as you squeeze the bottle. This bottle came from a chain of stores named "Sally Beauty Supplies" and cost $2.49.
