Prepare to Win, by Carroll Smith, is the bible to aspiring racecar mechanics,
written by a legendary crew chief and designer. The book is an oldie, but
a goody. While it is focused on racecar prep, all of the tips are applicable
to karts as well. Knowing the right kind of fasteners to use in all situations,
alone, will help you no end. $19.95 at motorbooks.com

Narrated by Sam Posey and JIm Hall.

Teeshirt as art
By the time I'd seen this artist mentioned a few times, I had to check
his art out. Nicolas Hunziker makes good use of classic race cars,
and color, bold in nature but sparing in it's number. This shirt is
an exclusive to GriotsGarage.com. His other tees, and his racing art
as well, at his website, nickhunziker.com. This tee is $29.99.
