LeMans at night is a magical place. Lights glow, brakes glow, tempers glow. The pits and spectators go about their very different busnesses in the cool of the night, in brutal heat or driving rain.
It goes on and on through the night, until the remaining survivors see daybreak. Watts captures the atmosphere of LeMans beautifully. His depiction of Gilles Villeneuve slideways in the rain personifies Villeneuve's spirit in any conditions. Look for a good selection at Motorsport Collector and oliver's art.
